Zac Benson
MChem Student
Zachary Benson is in the fourth year of his MChem in Chemistry with a Year in Industry at the University of Leeds.
During his placement year, he worked with Croda on the synthesis of a biodegradable rheology modifier, and a carbon emission prediction tool for synthetic chemists. These projects were supervised by Dr Daniel Day and earned Zachary a Sustainability Impact award from the University of Leeds.
Currently, he is working on the production of an organic linker for MOF synthesis in continuous-flow, designing the synthetic route and telescoping the reaction.
