Xiangyi Chen
PhD Student
School of Chemistry
Xiangyi obtained the BSc degree in chemistry from the Hebei University of Science and Technology (China). During his research project, he worked with Prof. Shuling Cui investigating the modification of hydrophobic agents.
He then moved to UK to achieve the Master degree in University of Leeds, followed by undertaking a PhD in chemistry, supervised by Dr Tom Chamberlain and Prof. Michaele Hardie. His research interest focusses on functionalized fullerene derivatives for battery electrolyte, supramolecular study and catalytic activity.
