Yu-Ting (Martina) Su completed her bachelor’s degree from the National University of Kaohsiung (Taiwan) in 2020 with a first in Applied Chemistry. During her undergraduate studies, she researched in a Porous Material Laboratory with Dr Tseng-Chang Tsai designing a process to recycle the aluminium-containing alkaline wastewater in a real aluminium extrusion industry. After graduating, she worked with Dr Tseng-Chang Tsai for 6 months, participating in two startup competitions and leading the team to be awarded, which is the 2021 Community Entrepreneur Cup (Ministry of Education, Taiwan) with Bronze Award and the 2021-1 From IP to IPO Program (Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan) with Top 15, respectively. Then Martina started her master’s degree at the University of Leeds in 2021 in Polymers Colourants and Fine Chemicals. Her dissertation project is related to textile wastewater treatment, which is under the supervision of Dr Thomas Chamberlain.
