Jon is currently in his 4th year of the MChem degree program at the University of Leeds.

During his third year at Leeds, Jon undertook a mini project to develop an easy laboratory route to the antihistamine synthesis.

He has also received a fully funded sponsorship from the MoD in his final years of study, alongside a place on their graduate scheme. He also completed a nine-week summer internship with the company following third year.

His master’s project is centred around the Optimisation of heterogeneously catalysed hydrogenation reactions using a continuous flow, packed bed reactor and will be supervised by Professor Thomas Chamberlain.
