Jo Morton is currently in her 4^th year of the MChem programme at the University of Leeds, after having undertaken an industrial placement year at a specialty inorganic chemicals company. Here she worked on a project in the optimisation of a multi-tonne batch manufacturing process. Now she is researching the production of titanium dioxide nanoparticles in flow, with the aim of achieving the self-optimisation of the process to produce low toxicity nanoparticles as part of the SABYDOMA project.
