Abi is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Leeds.

During her third year, she undertook a project investigating the use of fluorescence spectroscopy to predict quenching rates. 

She has also recently completed a summer placement with LBBC Technologies, where she assisted with laboratory work and data analysis to support LBBC’s development of a model to predict the rate of ceramic core leaching in turbine blades. 

Her Master’s project will focus on developing an autonomous system to optimise the synthesis of quantum dots.
