Anthony graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2019 with a First Class master’s degree in Chemistry. He spent his third year on placement at AstraZeneca in Macclesfield as an analytical scientist before returning in his fourth year to complete his master’s project under the supervision of Dr Tony Haynes. His master’s project looked into the heterogenisation of homogeneous catalysts using metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as support materials.

Anthony is currently in the first year of his PhD at the University of Leeds under the supervision of Dr Thomas Chamberlain, Dr Kejun Wu and Dr Sean Collins. He is also part of the Molecules to Product CDT. His research is focused on the design of heterogeneous catalyst pellet hybrid materials for use in continuous flow systems.
